MPG Project 2013! 5th recipient chosenHi there, i'm =Alex-Blaszczynski and i am writing this journal to inform all of you guys of a project which i will be starting in 2013.
What is the MPG Project?
The MPG project stands for "Monthly premium give-away project".
On the 15th of every month in 2013 i will be giving away a 3 month premium membership to one lucky deviant here on deviantArt.
I will only be choosing people who have registered to be part of the MPG project
Premium memberships that i give away as part of the MPG project do not count towards my 2013 prize budget so do not worry i will still be hosting competitions & other  give-aways throughout the year.
How can i participate/register?
It's extremely easy, all you have to do is leave a comment and :+fav: this journal.

So after the recent closure of the logo contest we, after looking at the poll we posted, decided that we needed to host a new contest.
So here is the Atropa Belladonna contest!
The Theme
Atropa Belladona is the binomial name for deadly nightshade.
The theme for this contest is Flora (plants). Flowers, trees, fungi, grass... They all make up so much of this planet we live on, each type of plant has its own ways of growing, its own unique defence mechanisms and its own symbiotic relationship. Some are giant, some are small, some are edible whilst others are completely poisonous, we rely on them every day of our lives.
We want you to create a�piece�of artwork which incorporates plants in any way shape of form. They should be the main focus or feature, or play a large part in the piece.

In 2012 i helped out a few people by donating points and prizes for competitions but i realised that i spent too much of my budget on my own group. So this year i have decided to start a new project called The Prize Stash
What is The Prize Stash?
The prize stash is a place where you can get prizes for your competitions.
All through 2013 i will be donating a bunch prizes for competitions. The prizes that i will be offering will be listed Below and all you will need to do is leave a comment in this journal informing me of the competition you are hosting (it can be a personal competition or a group based one) and which prizes you would like me to donate.
Please note that i won't be able to donate to every competition.

So The results from the poll show that you guys wanted the Queen of Darkness contest.
and i plan to give you guys a really great contest brief so i'm working on writing one up.
However whilst i am creating the brief (and the contest promo artwork) i will need you guys to help me out with organising prizes.
I usually donate most of the prizes but this time around i'm running low on le cash as i just paid for my TAFE course.
So if you guys could possibly help me out by donating some prizes that would be swelltastic!
notes on the contest: There will be 3 categories for this contest, red queen, white queen and black queen. You will be able to enter each category but you can only be chosen to win 1.
the details and full brief of the contest will be released in about a week. At the moment i'm just trying to get a list of prizes going.
