MPG Project 2013! 4th recipient chosenHi there, i'm =Alex-Blaszczynski and i am writing this journal to inform all of you guys of a project which i will be starting in 2013.
What is the MPG Project?
The MPG project stands for "Monthly premium give-away project".
On the 15th of every month in 2013 i will be giving away a 3 month premium membership to one lucky deviant here on deviantArt.

So after the recent closure of the logo contest we, after looking at the poll we posted, decided that we needed to host a new contest.
So here is the Atropa Belladonna contest!
The Theme
Atropa Belladona is the binomial name for deadly nightshade.
The theme for this contest is Flora (plants). Flowers, trees, fungi, grass... They all make up so much of this planet we live on, each type of plant has its own ways of growing, its own unique defence mechanisms and its own symbiotic relationship. Some are giant, some are small, some are edible whilst others are completely poisonous, we rely on them every day of our lives.
We want you to create a�piece�of artwork which incorporates plants in any way shape of form. They should be the main focus or feature, or play a large part in the piece.

So, what is this journal that is sporting a lovely CSS made by $Ikue all about?  Well, when the HLE Contest ended a lot of people were looking forward to the next contest and after the success of the HLE Contest I really wanted to hold another.  So, that is what this new spiffy journal is about :XD:  I chose a nice dark themed one since this contest is going to be for my yangire character Tilt :devilish:
I had another contest in mind but I decided to hold off on that one till after the book is out.  That way people can get to know the other characters a little before drawing them :D

Hello! After some deliberation I've decided it is time to hold my first contest. It's going to be based on my story and original characters. The theme is spring. You are free to interpret this time in any way you choose.
My story is set in a contemporary Dublin, but in an alternative timeline where magic is possible. Visually, this means the world has been influenced by different historical periods as the supernatural world seems somewhat more archaic than its technological counterpart. You'll also see this in the character's wardrobes that fluctuate from very modern to Victorian-esque.

Hey there =Alex-Blaszczynski here.

So The results from the poll show that you guys wanted the Queen of Darkness contest.
and i plan to give you guys a really great contest brief so i'm working on writing one up.
However whilst i am creating the brief (and the contest promo artwork) i will need you guys to help me out with organising prizes.
I usually donate most of the prizes but this time around i'm running low on le cash as i just paid for my TAFE course.

So if you guys could possibly help me out by donating some prizes that would be swelltastic!


notes on the contest: There will be 3 categories for this contest, red queen, white queen and black queen. You will be able to enter each category but you can only be chosen to win 1.
the details and full brief of the contest will be released in about a week. At the moment i'm just trying to get a list of prizes going.

Since this is an official #Digital-Art-Club the medium will be digital. so no traditional mediums, no literature, no photography.
I will be hosting a contest soon that allows all mediums but that will be a contest on my personal page.
